Dear Backers,

As we have previously announced we changed to an Apple Certified Factory. That is terrific news. We are now using same process  as the iPhone to cut, manufacture and finish our Ring. They have completed testing durability on first batch of samples with 3,000 x's open/shut & they have told us to expect our production order to be released in July.  

We have been hand delivering  Rings from previous factory to IGG backers on the West Coast this month with great feedback.(See comments)  Since first factory did not have as extensive of testing procedures we don't want to release too many Rings until we get more feedback on first products delivered so we can insure we only ship quality products to you , our backers.  We will keep you posted.....

The new Apple certified factory informed us that the ring passed their 3000-time usage testing. The test includes some pressure test, open-close test, etc. Just do it 3000 times. That means the ring should be good for normal usage at least 2 years (2 years have 730 days. You can take out/put on the phone ring from your iPhone 4 times a day for 2 years. The ring should still be good.).

Delivery Update:

We have started to hand deliver basic color Rings where we can on the West Coast for feedback and possible opportunities for improvements.  As we have written we have begun manufacturing in a new Apple Certified Factory and need to order all the Fashion Colors from this factory.  We decided to wait a couple of weeks to get feedback from Backers like David (who left a comment )when we delivered his Phone Ring personally!  below (He was very happy with his Phone Ring!) We think the personal process vital.  With new input we can make changes at new factory.  Please give us two weeks to reach out to backers on the West Coast---LA planned for next week---on the basic colors we have in stock--we will order new colors for delivery we estimate Mid July.  

PLEASE KNOW based on our info that the NEW 7s should have same size frame as the 7....so you don't need to change your case if you upgrade.  

We are getting MUCH interest on our Phone Ring for the new Apple 8...we will give all our IGG backers a special discount if interested when available.  Let us know if you are intersted in an iPhone 8 case when they come out for a special backer discount.

Someone asked us how the ring protected iPhone and made it survive in 16 feet drop test. Here is our design idea. That comes from earthquake dynamics.

We also referred to the structure of Horyuji Temple in Ikaruga, Nara Prefecture, Japan, built 1400 years ago. It is the world oldest wooden building.

To achieve protection and minimalistic design, the internal structure is different from any other iPhone bumper or case design.
